Eleanore A. Krueger (nee Michels), age 95, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Kathy Hospice of West Bend. She was born on May 19, 1918 in Richfield to the late Charles and Rose (nee Albinger) Michels. She graduated from West Bend High School. Eleanore loved knitting, quilting, and gardening. She enjoyed baking and made the best chocolate chip cookies ever! There was always a canister on the counter or in the freezer. She loved her family and made everyone feel welcome. She was very generous and touched the lives of many people.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children Ronnie (Judie), Dan, Mary (Tom) Fisher, Judy (Mike) Mezera, Carol (Jake) Jacobson, Bob (Jean), and John (Jodi); 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Eleanore is preceded in death by two grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, Elaine; siblings, Marion Zimmel and Herbert Michels; and many in-laws.

The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 4:30 PM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish (1025 S 7th Ave, West Bend). The visitation will be at the church on Friday, August 9th from 2:30 – 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Kathy Hospice (St. Joseph's Community Foundation, 3200 Pleasant Valley Rd, West Bend, WI 53095).
