Elaine Esther Hoberg (nee Bosshardt), age 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was born on January 21, 1922 in Sheboygan, WI to Carl and Norma (nee Koerner) Bosshardt. Elaine graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1939, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1943 where she was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Lambda Theta. She worked as a teacher and librarian in the Beloit, Madison and West Bend, WI school systems.

Elaine married Arthur P. Hoberg in April 1946. Elaine and her late husband were active supporters of the performing arts in West Bend and Milwaukee. She was a member of the West Bend Woman's Club, West Bend Beautification Committee, The Fifth Avenue Methodist Church, The Greater Milwaukee Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and the Wisconsin Alumni Association.

Elaine is survived by her three children Peggy Hoberg of Chicago, IL, Kathryn (Douglas) Johnson of Wilmette, IL, and Michael (Theresa) Hoberg of San Carlos, CA; grandsons Paul Hoberg and Andrew Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur P. Hoberg.
