Eileen K. Weigel, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18,
2024
at St. Monica's in Racine
.
She was born on February 20,
1930
to Paul and Mary (nee Gerl) Weigel
.
Eileen enjoye d gardenin g , bowling in her younger years and taking care of her numerous dogs that she had through the years and spending time with friends.
She retired after many years at Western Publishing Co in Racine , WI.
Eileen is survived by her nephews and niece s , Jan Kiefer Mosinee, WI, Chery & Mike Loveland Auburndale, WI, Lou Ann & Jim Muranyi Wausau WI, David Weigel, Linda Weigel, Mae Weigel, Roy Weigel all from Marshfield WI, Dan iel & Michele Spiekerman West Bend WI, Dwayne & Pat Spiekerman Menomonee Falls, WI , Dale & Kathy Weigel Hartfor d , WI, Kathy & Larry Vinz Beaver Dam, WI , Kenny Weigel West Bend, WI, Ricky & Rose Mary Weigel Fruitport MI, Ruth & Troy Sterr Madison, WI and other great nephews and nieces and friends.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers Harry, Victor, Harold and Richard, sister Dorothy Spiekerman and nephew Paul Weigel.
The first Funeral Service will be at 1:00PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) . Visitation will be prior at the funeral home on January 28 th from 12:00PM until 12:45 PM.
A second Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Sauter- Rembs Funeral Home (211910 State Hwy 97, Stratford, WI 54484) . Visitation will be prior at the funeral home from 12:00PM until 12:45 PM. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (420 E. Larch St. Stratford, WI 54484) .
In lieu, of flowers, memorials are appreciated t o Dementia Society of America or your local Animal Shelter.
