Edward "Ed" Charles Katzer, age 85 of West Bend, Wisconsin went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 23, 2023. Ed was born in Milwaukee, February 14, 1938 the son of Alma (Haasch) and Edward Katzer.

Ed enjoyed golfing, Coca Cola, playing cards and his dog, Buddy. His family was very special to him and he was blessed to be surrounded by his family in his final days.

Ed is survived by his children, Bruce (Anne), Cheryl (Rich) Kolbeck, Steven and Edward; nine grandchildren, Melissa (Barry) Wiskirchen, Brad (Payton) Katzer, Ben (Kayla) Katzer, Rachael (Tom) Kolbeck, Cassandra (Ryan) Katzer, Kyle (Katie) Katzer, Ashley (Glen) Lang, Kati (Caleb) Panter, EJ (Marissa) Katzer, twelve great-grandchildren, Liberty, Londyn, Levi, Bentley, Zion, Nyzir, Otto, Porter, Teagan, Owen, Kolbi, Lorelai.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Darlene Katzer and sister Marlene Charpata.

Funeral Services for Ed will be held Thursday, April 6 at 1:00 pm at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, Wisconsin. Family and friends may gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will take place privately at Washington County Memorial Park following the service.
