Edward "Ed" A. Gersich, age 77, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was born in Hurley, WI on January 8, 1939 and graduated from Hurley High School in 1958. He lived in Wadsworth, Illinois until moving to Hubertus, WI. He retired from Abbott Laboratories after 37 ½ years of service.

He is survived by his daughters Marie (Jim) Blise and Michelle (Jason) Sedovic; proud grandfather of Malea, Marco and Max; sister Suzie (Roland) Johnson and loving companion, Brenda. He is further survived by his former wives Joan and Marilyn, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen (nee LaForge); brother Buddy (Helen) and sister Shirley (Edward) McCarthy.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church (1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033). Interment will follow the Mass at St. Hubert Cemetery. The visitation will be held at the church on Friday, December 2nd from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Kathy Hospice (St. Joseph's Community Foundation c/o The Kathy Hospice, 3200 Pleasant Valley Rd., West Bend, WI 53095) or St. Gabriel Parish.
