Duayne Lyn Vancha passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 24, 2024 at the age of 57 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Duayne was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Romeoville High School and after that started his own painting business. Duayne was the son of John and Evelyn Vancha. Later married Tricia (Thull) in 1986 and had 5 children.
Duayne was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle. He enjoyed the outdoors including being out on the water on the boat. He spent most of his free time working on boats and campers. He enjoyed watching sports and teaching his children about sports. He spent many weekends camping and exploring the outdoors. He also enjoyed hunting and clay shooting. His family really learned to appreciate the outdoors because of him.
Duayne is survived by his 5 children: Crystal (Joey) Bond, Justin (Holly) Vancha, Amanda (Stefan) Maldonado, Jordan (Kendra) Vancha, Michael (Becca) Vancha. His 13 Grandchildren: Madisyn, Aiden, Carter, Nolan, Owen, Braelyn, Olyvia, Bryson, Malachi, Kinley, Sophia, Bennett and Kason. His 4 siblings: Char (Jim) Nennig, Joyce Compton, Timothy Vancha (Bryan Hull), Jackie (John) Beck. His 8 Nieces and Nephews: Mark Kander (Sarah Wondra), Shannon (Kyle) Schmidt, Katherine Vancha, Brittany Brown (Andy Woodward), Rachael (Ville) Jukarainen, Kristopher Zeigler, Andrew (Sarah) Zeigler, Amber Beck.
Duayne was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy and Bernice Nikkila and Nicholas and Mitra Vancha.
We would like to thank the staff at Ascension Columbia St Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee for the care and kindness they expressed. We would also like to thank the Organ Donation Staff as Duayne was able to help those in need and they made the process very meaningful.
