Duane S. Galecki, of Jackson, passed away Monday July 7, 2014 at Kathy Hospice at the age of 65 years. Duane was born on November 3, 1948 in Milwaukee and attended Pulaski High School. After his schooling, he entered the US Army and served in Vietnam. After his military service, Duane worked for EGA Products Inc.

Duane loved all things Brewers and Packers, playing fantasy football and baseball, Sci Fi, reading WWI and WWII history books, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Duane is survived by his wife Barbara, his daughter Jodine (the late Kevin) Murphy, his stepchildren Jeffrey (Julie) Davis, Janel Pike, Judith (Jim) Spanholz and Jamie (the late Roger) Kittson; grandchildren Brandon, CJ, Jordan, Jacob, Dylan, Brooklyn and Jimmy; his brother David; brother-in-law Greg (Debby) Gonwa, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Duane will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday July 15 at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend) with Chaplain Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until time of service. Full military honors will follow. Burial will take place at Central Wisconsin Veterans memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
