Drue Louise Slavic, age 81, passed away on September 16, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital in West Bend. She was born on March 25, 1937, in Milwaukee, to George and Gladys Lukowitz. Drue married John Frank Slavic at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on May 12, 1962. Drue enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, being outdoors, going on vacation with her friends, and ceramics with her grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed tending to and riding horses. She also participated in the Share Program in Washington County. Drue worked for Universal Strap in Jackson for many years.

Drue is survived by her daughter Lisa Slavic and son Brent (Becky Wald), grandchildren Troy and Mason, cousin Chuck Hartman and niece Beth Slavic. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service for Drue will be held on Sunday, September 23 at 3:00 pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm.

Drue is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her uncle Charles Kent.
