Douglas "Bruno" Konietzka, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in his home in West Bend. He was born on August 10, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI to Alfred and Eleanor (nee Schmidt) Konietzka. In Bruno's younger years he loved karate and was a black belt. Later, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He married his loving wife, Linda (nee Kilbourn) on October 27, 1979 and together they raised their beautiful daughter, Becky. Bruno retired from MEE Material Handling LLC and he also served as a Teamster Union Steward.

Bruno is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda; daughter Becky (Jason) Ampe; grandchildren, Brady and Brett Ampe; sister-in-law, Jane Kilbourn; brother-in-law, Jim (Jean) Kilbourn; nephews Jerremiah (Pam) and Jasen Kilbourn; great-nephews, Aidan and Dylan Kilbourn. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Bruno is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Diane Konietzka.

A Funeral Service will be at 6:00PM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, December 7th from 4:00PM until 5:45PM. Entombment will be at 12:30PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
