Doreen A. Kamrath (nee Gapinski) age 66 passed away on January 2, 2021 in West Bend. She was born on August 2, 1954 to Roman and Betty (nee Hafemann) was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from James Madison High School Class of 1972 and later earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from UW Stevens Point. On September 13, 1975 she married John Kamrath. Doreen was previously employed at West Bend Open MRI. She was a member of St Peter Catholic Church in Slinger.

Doreen enjoyed planting flowers, collecting antiques, decorating for every season and she loved to bake in the fall. Her happy place was "Ma & Howie's Retreat in the Woods" near Antigo, WI. She loved to crochet and make items for her family and friends. She especially loved making baby blankets for loved ones and her grandson Owen (Lyndsay). She was so excited for the arrival of another grandchild (Erik) in February.

Doreen is survived by her husband John, her mother Betty Gapinski, children, Erik (Jess) Kamrath, and Lyndsay (David) Zwaska, grandson Owen Zwaska, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Roman Gapinski.

Memorials are appreciated to St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger. Flowers in Doreen's memory can be sent to the funeral home.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
