Donald L. Gambino, 53, of Platte City, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. Don was born April 15, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Charles and Ruth Gambino. He was a 1981 graduate of Menomonee Falls North High School. Don married Mara Jo Laine on January 30, 1982 in Menomonee Falls. Don worked for Goodyear for 32 years, having worked his way up from delivering tires to manager. Don and Mara lived various places in Wisconsin, Indiana, and finally Platte City. He was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Missouri, and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers: Charlie, Bob, Ron, and John Gambino.

Don is survived by his wife Mara; his sons Michael and Brandon; and his daughter Samantha; grandchildren, Nolan and Lily; 5 brothers: Jim, Wayne, Tom, Tony (Kellie), and Larry (Sharon); his parents-in-law, Dale and Rayetta Laine, and 2 brothers-in-law Vance (Allyson) and Tom (Denise); and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

The Funeral Service for Don will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). Interment will follow the service at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 14th from 12 – 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, any memorials in Don's honor will be given to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church.
