Donald W. Clark, age 82, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born on January 3, 1931 in Indiana to John and Myrtle (nee Raemer) Clark. Don was a veteran of the US Navy in the early 50's and enjoyed traveling during that time. He loved crocheting and donated over 200 newborn hats to Children's Hospital. He taught cake decorating at MPTC for over 30 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, and was a real "people person." Don loved fishing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rose Ann (nee Mertzig); children: Debbie (Jan) Wiersma, Patti (Tom) Hetzel, Ann (Duane) Sippel; grandchildren: Ashley (Glen) Lang, Kati (Mike) Firkus, E.J. Katzer, Aaron and Amanda Hetzel, Shannan and Shelbie Sippel; great-grandchildren: Lorelai Lang and Owen Firkus; brother-in-law, David Mertzig; and aunt-in-law, Helen Mertzig. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Albert and Phil Clark.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) with Fr. Ryan Pruess presiding. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 14th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.
