Donald G. Cardarelle, age 85 years of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Kathy Hospice. He was born on December 27, 1931 in Neillsville, WI to Louis and Hada (nee Wren) Cardarelle. Donald graduated from West Bend High School in 1951. He married Jeannette (nee Mintzlaff) on March 10, 1956. Donald was a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict and was active in the VFW Post #1393 of West Bend and Honor Guard. He enjoyed collecting model airplanes, traveling out West, reading history books, his Bible and driving his El Camino. Donald was a member of St. Johns Church of West Bend, Korean War Vets, Military Order of Purple Heart and VFW former Post Commander.

Don is survived by his wife Jeannette, children Deborah (Michael) Reindl, Cheryl (Jerome) Eberhardt, Randal (Donna), Robert (Patti), William, Gary (Jody) and daughter-in-law Barb Cardarelle; grandchildren, Becky (Noah) Luckish, Christina (Brandon) Faber, Stephanie, Samantha, Maranda, Claire, and Justin Cardarelle, Vince (Alyssa), Jared (Carley), Luke Reindl; siblings, Ardell (Eunice) and Melvin (Lucille) Cardarelle, Janel Wiesner and Dennis (Janette) Cardarelle. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, son James, sister-in-law Jane Chapman, brother-in-law Alois Wiesner.

A Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Rev. Jeff Hesse presiding. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service (1:00 PM). Interment to follow at Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated to a charity of choice.
