Obituary
Donald "Don" Roy Burdick, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at New Perspectives in West Bend. He was born on December 12, 1943 in Clyman, WI to Roy and Ruth (nee Heinzelman) Burdick. Don enjoyed spending time at his camper on Long Lake. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. Don had a young spirit and was always the life of the party. His sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Don was a brick layer his whole life and built many known buildings in West Bend and surrounding towns. One of the most memorable buildings Don helped put together is the West Bend Cinema. Don was able to make friends with everyone he met. Don's elastic personality and warming smile will be missed by everyone.
Don is survived by his three brothers, Bob (Janet), Jim (Dawn), and John Burdick. Don is also survived by his children, Crystal Dalton, Donald Burdick Jr., Austin Hecker, Rick Neuy, Dave Helgerson, Shane Neuy, Lanette (Nate) Seibert, April Stout, Kaysi Stout, Maddie Stout; grandchildren, Skylar Dalton, Brittany, Dustin, Jessica and Hailey Burdick. Harley, Ashely, Mason and Mickey Helgerson, Jessie, Allie and Elizabeth Neuy, Chase Sebastian, Christian Edwards.
Don is preceded in death by his life-long partner, Joanne Epps.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:30am on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 13 th from 10:00am until 11:15am.
Donnie's celebration of life party will be held on Saturday, September 13 th after the service. Please join us at Beek's Joint, 326 Commerce St, West Bend, WI, where food and drinks will be provided. To those of you who knew Donnie, you know that his partying never ends, therefore an additional party held in Donnie's name will be celebrated on Sunday, September 14 th at Bahr Time, (W2904 Main St, Campbellsport, WI), at 12pm. All are welcome to join us for drinks.
