Our cowboy Don now rides with Jesus
Winged angels flew him home
To rest within God's kingdom
Where the wild paint horses roam.
The sun now sets our love, skating across the sparkling stream
Your beautiful soul forever lives in your children's dreams
Your cowboy hat is now your halo
Your boots now dance on clouds
We're blessed to call you father
You've always made us proud
Your soul is now at peace and free
You no longer need to walk the line
We cherish every memory
Until the end of time
Cowboy Don now dwells amid the angels
Of loved ones past before
They greeted him with open arms when he knocked on heaven's door!
