Dolores Lucille Heppe, (nee Sonnenberg) age 91, passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2018, at Wellington Place in Hartford, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Herbert and Alice (nee Bloom) Sonnenberg. Dolores married the late Robert Heppe on May 17th, 1947, at Holy Angels Church in West Bend. Dolores loved to play bingo with her sister Dorothy, and enjoyed many games of Solitaire. She enjoyed crocheting, reading mystery novels, and traveling.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Mardell (Charles) Bernarde and Lu Ann Klodzik; grandchildren, Daniel Bernarde, Tricia Hoehn, Jason and Nickolas Heppe; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Jared and Jake Bernarde, Amanda and Josie Hoehn, and Evan and Izaac Heppe. She is further survived other relatives and friends.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gordon "Gus" Sonnenberg, Gerald "Geri" Sonnenberg, her sisters Betty MacFarlane and Dorothy Petri, her son Jim Heppe, and great grandson in-law Jim Hoehn.

A Memorial Service for Dolores will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, September 12th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend). Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 12th from 2:00pm until the time of service (4:00pm). Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dolores' name are appreciated to Wellington Place (615 Hilldale Drive, Hartford, Wisconsin, 53027).

The family would like to thank the staff at Wellington Place for their loving care of Dolores over the past five years, as well as Seasons Hospice for their care of Dolores over the last few months.
