Diane R. Pennell (nee Loux), age 67, of Sheboygan, went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with bladder cancer on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. She was born on December 3, 1947 in Sheboygan to Raymond and Dorothy (nee Zywicke) Loux. Diane was raised in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1966.

Diane was very passionate about her faith and lived her life in keeping with the teachings from S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Diane was an avid football fan and especially loved the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Diane is survived by her children Heather Pennell, Sarah (Marty) Grubanowitch; grandchildren Mitchell, Emma, M.J. and Hannah; siblings Robert Loux and Donna (Larry) Gensch; brother-in-law Russell Longtine. Further survived by nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Longtine and sister-in-law Patricia Loux.

A Funeral Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 West Paradise Drive West Bend, WI 53095) on Sunday, October 4th at 11:30 AM with Father Jerry Repenshek presiding. Visitation will be held at the Phillip Funeral Home on Sunday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 902 Pewaukee, WI 53072-0902) are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oncology Team at Froedtert, especially Dr. Kathryn Bylow and to the Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice for all the care and compassion they provided Diane during her journey.
