Delmar F. Gruling age 83 passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in West Bend. He was born on September 8, 1937 in Cedarburg to Theodore and Dora (nee Guetzke) Gruling. He later married Jean Szymkowski and they began their family. Del was retired from Navistar in Waukesha. He loved to bird watch, gardening and working puzzles.

Del is survived by son John (Karen), daughters Donna (Pat) Kitkowski, Doreen Gruling and Darcey Gruling, 6 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, son Jeff and brothers and sister.

A Memorial Service for Del will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 20 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend) with Deacon Mark Jansen presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm. Private cemetery services.
