Della Marie Lehmann (Thompson)
August 31, 1940 – August 12, 2025
Della Marie Lehmann (Thompson), 84, of West Bend, WI, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Cedar Community Center. She was born on August 31, 1940, to Robert and Inez (Mattison) Thompson at Ovitz Hospital in Laona, WI.
On October 25, 1958, Della married Edward P. Lehmann at St. Paul's Evangelical Church in the Town of Polk. Their life together was filled with travel, music, and dancing (especially polka) and their devotion to one another was a constant source of inspiration to family and friends.
Della worked for many years at Amity Leather, where she formed lasting friendships. She was also an active and proud member of the West Bend Moose Lodge 1398, dedicating much of her time to volunteering and supporting the lodge's work in the community.
She is survived by her children, Debra (John), Ronald (Maureen), and daughter-in-law Judy; grandchildren Joshua (Arielle), Sarah, Marshall, and Nolan; and great-grandchildren Everett and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Edward, her first born son Kevin, and many other family and friends that were very special to her.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Phillip Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Eric Kierkegaard.
Memorials can be made Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum, WI or West Bend Moose Lodge #1398.
Della will be remembered for her warmth, her commitment to family and community, and the joy she brought to those who knew her.
