Dawn M. Stenberg (nee Bastian), loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and best friend passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, February 7th, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

No matter how sick she was, she was always focused on the future and never stopped fighting. There was no quit in Dawn, and through her we know what strength, resilience and perseverance truly look like.

Dawn enjoyed crafting, getting her nails done, flea markets, warm summer days, her flower gardens, beer Fridays, football Sundays, Horses, and most of all her grandchildren Mackenna, Chelsea, and Lucas. We will miss Dawn's advice, encouragement, stubbornness, bluntness, and most of all her thoughtfulness

Dawn is survived by her husband Alan, daughter Heather (Nick), son Nick (Jessica) and sister Debbie (Tom). She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was greeted in heaven by her parents Don and Nancy Bastian, father and mother-in-law Ralph and Esther Stenberg, and brother Dennis Bastian.

As per Dawn's wishes, no services will be held, and information regarding a celebration of life is forthcoming. Memorials may be made to the Washington County Humane Society.

The Phillip Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
