David ("Dave") Schlehlein, 75 of Oak Grove, MN passed away peacefully November 5, 2025. He was formally from West Bend, WI.
Dave dedicated his career as Senior Risk Control Specialist, where his attention to detail and steady nature earned the respect of colleagues and clients. Outside of his work, Dave found his greatest joy in his family- especially his daughter Amanda, son-in-law James and beloved grandchildren, Madeline (14), Nora (10), and Harrison (7), whom he loved and adored deeply.
Dave loved dinnertime, always ensuring a meal was on the table at a certain hour so his family could gather together. A proud lifelong Green Bay Packer fan, he was thrilled to recently visit Lambeau Field for the first time. Dave was known for his sharp wit and perfectly timed punchlines that never failed to bring laughter to those around him. He also enjoyed a nice chilled can of Miller High Life.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, the late Dawn Schlehlein whom they met on a blind date and fell in love. Together they built a life full of memories of which continue to bring comfort to all who knew them.
Dave will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty and the deep love he had for his family and his lawn because it will never be the same. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on to all those that loved him.
