David Lee Larson, passed away on Saturday, April 13th at the age of 61, at Kathy Hospice surrounded by his family. Dave was born on September 15, 1951 in Port Washington, WI to Kenneth and Marjorie (Korb) Larson. Dave spent his childhood years in Newburg, shortly after he migrated to West Bend. He was employed as a construction worker for various companies throughout the years. In 2002, Dave married his longtime girlfriend, Ginnie Frings, in a tropical wedding in Jamaica. Shortly after, they moved to Marenisco, Michigan, to his home on Lake Gogebic. Dave loved spending his time fishing, hunting, and on the water. He had a real knack for gardening and landscaping. Dave loved to spend time with his new girl, German Shepard puppy "Cindy" and cat "Callie."
Dave was a passionate husband, dad, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by those that knew him. Dave, also known as, "Big Daddy," was known most for his quick witted humor and the ability to make those around him laugh.
He is survived by wife, Ginnie (Frings); daughter, Tracy (Paul) Ermer; son, Cory (Patti) Larson; grandchildren, Beau and Brady Becker, Brooklyn and Brynn Ermer; step-children, Brenda (Ryan) Bowser, Chris (Tom) Hilt; step-granddaughter, Jazzelle Peters and step-grandson, Sebastian; siblings, Nancy Nehring, Tom (JoAnn) Larson, Mike (Kay) Larson, Vicki (Perry) Gornjak, Ken (Mary) Larson, and Ron (Denise) Larson. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Keegan.
The visitation will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) on Wednesday, April 17th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with sharing of memories at 7:00 PM.
