David J. Biertzer, age 57, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2014, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. He was born on December 24, 1956, in West Bend to Raymond and Priscilla (nee Braun) Biertzer. David worked as an assembler at The Threshold where he made many, many friends.

David loved going for rides and to the car wash. He loved to goof around. David was just a very lovable and fun loving kid. He is Heaven's Very Special Child and the brightest star on the tree.

David is survived by his loving mother, Priscilla; siblings Diane (Donald) Leister, Tim (Lori) Biertzer and Lisa (Craig) Wichmann; nieces and nephews Casondra (Shawn) Evans, John (Carolyn) Leister, Jordan Biertzer, Michael Biertzer, Noah Biertzer, Jeremy Wichmann and Connor Wichmann; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Raymond.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (406 Jefferson St.), Barton on Monday, December 15, 2014, at 6PM with Fr. Enrique Hernandez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church from 4PM until the time of the service. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, West Bend.
