Darrell Emil Jutz, age 86, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Charter Senior Living of West Bend. He was born on April 29, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Emil and Evelyn (nee Winkel) Jutz. Darrell was a kind and generous man focused on serving his, and the surrounding communities, mainly as a member of the Allenton and St Lawrence Fire Departments, serving as a Firefighter / EMT for 25 years. Darrell was a long time member of the Metropolitan Builders Association and good friend to many, many tradesmen. Having served in the US Air Force, Darrell was also a committed member of the American Legion. He loved to hunt and fish with family and friends, yearly trips to fish walleye on Lake Erie were always a highlight. Darrell strived to share his knowledge of finances and investing where he could, and took great pride in developing his grandson Nickolas’ portfolio.
Most importantly of all, Darrell was ALWAYS RIGHT!
Darrell is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine; 3 children, Michael Jutz, Michele (Nick) Pal and Marshal (Lisa) Jutz; grandson Nickolas Pal and step-great-granddaughter, Summer Cecil. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Evelyn Jutz; sister, Sharon (Ray) Pfeiffer; parents-in-law, John and Marie (nee Preisler) Behmke and brother-in-law, Anthony Behmke.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2026, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Dr. Slinger, WI 53086) from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. At 3:15pm there will be a Fireman’s Service, and at 3:30pm, a Funeral Service with Pastor Benjamin Golisch presiding followed by a light luncheon.
Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 4th at 10:00am with Military Honors.
