Obituary

Danilo (Danny) Matias Tibayan, 70 years old of West Bend was called home on December 31, 2024.  He was at peace and surrounded by those who loved him.  Danny was born to Eliseo and Lucila Tibayan on November 2, 1954, in Imus Cavite, Philippines. Growing up in the Philippines, he attended Cavite National High School.  A short while later, Danny made the decision to head to the U.S. and found himself settling in California where he met the love of his life, Nena.

Danny left a legacy that many dream about, married to the love of his life, a father of two beautiful, successful daughters, brother, and friend of many. Things he will be remembered for were his selfless, kind and understanding nature, undeniable smile, and refreshingly simple outlook in life.  He made a living as a CNC machinist at Progress Manufacturing Inc. in West Bend. In his free time, he loved spending weekends in the garage with friends and family laughing and conversing.  In the summer he gardened and shared his wisdom and joys in life with his children.  He was a great fisherman and pro at putting the worms on his daughter's hooks. He spoiled his grand dogs (Aries, Potter, Dixie, and Big Tonka), watched Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys, (through the good and the bad years). He was always willing to help anyone, and though he's not with us, those who knew him will always remember the infectious way he laughed, and made everyday life seem so simple.

Danny's legacy is carried on through his wife, Nena, daughters, Sherlyn (Ike) and Jeanelle (Mike), siblings Marieta Legaspi, Felicidad Tibayan, Flordeliza Oba ñ a, Eduardo (Mila) Tibayan, Dolores Ayson, Ruby (Ramon) Sarreal, Mary Ann (Marcelo) Rase, sibling-in-law Gloria Tibayan, and many more friends and relatives.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents Eliseo and Lucila, siblings Anastacio Tibayan and Edna Tibayan, siblings-in-law Victoriano Legaspi, Arturo Ayson, and Victoriano Oba ñ a.
