Daniel L. Meyer "Bookum" passed away Friday August 10, 2018 at the age of 71 years. He was born on March 19, 1947 to Walter and Evelyn (nee Bloedorn) Meyer and raised in Slinger. Dan graduated from Slinger High School Class of 1965 and later retired from Wilmen Industries. He was a retired member of the Slinger Fire Department. His interests include all sports, going to Las Vegas, shaking dice, golfing but he especially loved to socialize.

Dan is survived by his siblings; David (Mary) Meyer and Gloria (John) Harmon, sister-in-law Barbara Meyer, nieces Tammy (the late Ed) Van Diem and Christina Harmon, his nephews; Jason (Vicki) Meyer, Brett (Amy) Meyer, Tim (Paula) Lehn, Terry (Paula) Lehn, Tony Lehn, Tom (Jean) Lehn, other relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ronald and his sister Kathy and brother-in-law Willie Lehn.

A Memorial Service for Dan will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday August 16th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend). Visitation will be held on Thursday August 16th at the funeral home from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm. He will be placed with his parents at Union Cemetery in Slinger.
