Cynthia J. Wiskirchen, age 90, went home to her eternal resting place on Monday
December 22, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1 935, to George and Sylvia (nee Schultz) Kuechler and was a lifelong resident of West Bend.
Cynthia was a wonderful homemaker and cook. Taking care of her family's needs was important to her. Even as the family grew, she hosted the family holidays and celebrations which included preparing delicious meals and welcoming all who came. She worked for several years at the local Dairy Queen and many remember her big smile as she welcomed the customers and took orders. Always diligent and efficient in whatever task she performed, she was the main Dilly maker for many years and enjoyed a variety of responsibilities there until she retired. Cynthia married Charles Wiskirchen, on July 24, 1954. They enjoyed 71 years of marriage and family life together. Together they built their family legacy, which continues to grow to this date. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Charles; children Sandy (Lee) Stehling,
Randy (Penni) Wiskirchen, Mark (Mercedes) of West Bend, Diane (Dave) Bartley of Naples Florida, Steve Wiskirchen of West Bend, and Keith (Jenny) Wiskirchen of Cascade. She is a grandmother of 1 5 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, with another due in the coming new year.
Cynthia is survived by sisters Kay Jonas, Sally Strupp, and Donna Leisner. She is proceeded in death by brothers Conrad Kuechler, Tommy Kuechler, and David Kuechler.
A private family funeral service for immediate family is being planned with the burial at the Holy Angels Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is assisting the family.
