Curt Edward DeHusson

Also known as "Ernie" to his loved ones, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2023, at the age of 63. He was born on July 8, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI. Curt was a graduate of West Allis Central High School, class of 1977, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, class of 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing. Curt was a beloved father to his children, Chanda (Michael) Doll and Cody DeHusson. He was also a loving grandfather to Dylan, Olivia, and Norah Doll. Curt is survived by his sister, Jodi (Anthony) DeHusson-Monty, brother-in-law, Jim (Linda O'Brien) Eisner, his girlfriend, Jane Probelski, and his former wife, LuAnn DeHusson. Curt is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends, all of whom he loved deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Donna DeHusson and his sister, Cheryl Eisner.

In his free time, Curt enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved nothing more than sitting around a campfire with his family and friends, sharing stories and jokes. Curt was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to any of his "home teams" or any NASCAR race. He also enjoyed cheering on the amateur athletes in the family as they participated in a variety of sports. Curt was also a member of David's Star Lutheran Church in Jackson, where he found peace and comfort in his faith.

Curt will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and infectious laugh will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at David's Star Lutheran Church, 2740 David's Star Drive, Jackson, WI 53037. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Christian burial immediately to follow the service. Friends and family are welcome to join the family for a luncheon in the school gymnasium following the burial.
