Obituary

Corrine Catherine Kling (Wanitschka), passed away peacefully at home on Wed., Apr. 23, 2014. She was born on April 20, 1928.

During her youth she babysat a lot, and was an avid roller skater. She and her friends would spend hours on the rink floor learning new dances. This was something she brought to her daughters at an early age.

She married John on Oct 4, 1947 and moved to West Bend from Wauwatosa in 1996. Corrine was a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed taking care of her family & babysitting for family members children. She found enjoyment sewing for her daughters and grandchildren when they were small. She liked making seasonal crafts, knitting, and crocheting. She also loved playing canasta and other card games with her grandchildren. They would help her make homemade malted milk shakes. John & Corrine celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends Oct 1997.

After John passed away in 2008, Corrine then went to live with oldest daughter Debbie, due to health issues. Corrine looked forward to weekends & vacations at Debbie & Jeff's summer place. Sitting on the deck watching the people, children and dogs walking by was great entertainment for her. She also looked forward to golf cart and boat rides & going for an ice cream cone. When she was taken down to the pool, she would scream with such fear when the great grandchildren would jump, dive, and do under water stunts. When they were done she laughed and clapped with joy.

Survived by her daughters: Debra (Jeffrey) Voigt & Sandra (Joseph) Wagner West Bend, WI; grandchildren: David M Jr. (Rhonda), Clark, Daniel M (Misty) Clark , Angela M. (Jeremy) Koepp, Amanda L. (Mark) Much, great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Courtney, Kayla, Marissa, Nathan, Hailey, & Jordyn Clark, Alyssa & Lily Koepp; sister Mildred (Mickey) Rasmussen, niece Pamela (Thomas) Bianchi; great-nephew Josh Bianchi; great-niece Katherine Bianchi; and deeply loved childhood & best friend Marion Knuth and her family.

Preceded in death by husband John J. Kling on March 6, 2008; brother Robert and sister, Dorothy; dearest friend Evelyn Beyer; and special family friend Owen Knuth.

The family would like to send a special Thank You to the staff of Season's Hospice for their support, encouragement, assistance, and wonderful care for our Mom. A very special thank you to Ellen, Tonia, Sara, and Dianna, without your guidance Mom would never have been able to pass at home.
We also want to thank Dr. Gregory G. Blommel, for being our parents Dr. & friend. You will always have a place in our hearts.

We would like to send a special thank you to Jeanne from Gemini Cares. She spent many hours with Mom during the past two and a half years while Debbie did errands and attended basketball games. "Little Grasshopper" loved you Jeanne.
