Cleona Arthur went home to Jesus on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

She was born in Allen County on April 19, 1918 to Clem and Dellcie Neely.

On November 19, 1940 she married her lifelong sweetheart, Art Arthur, now deceased.
She was a graduate of Elida High School and Northwestern Business College, and the owner and broker of Arthur Realty. Prior to her real estate company, she owned, operated and taught Hawaiian guitar in her five studios in Ohio and Indiana.

In the organizing of WTGN Christian radio 97.7 FM in Lima, she was behind it wholeheartedly with her support financially and personal participation. Shortly after the radio station began broadcasting in 1966, she read the precious word of God every weekday for over 30 years.

Cleona will be forever missed by her three sons, Rodney (Nancy), Ricci (Diane), Todd (Judi) and daughter Princiss "Tolly" Arthur (Jim Rutz), six grandchildren Meredith, John, Matthew, Scott, Stephen and Bradley and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Lima Baptist Temple, 982 Brower Road, Lima, Ohio on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, followed by a memorial service, also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to WTGN Christian Radio, 1600 Elida Road, Lima.
