Claus W. Hubert, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home in West Bend surrounded by family.  He was born on May 8, 1950, in Germany to Willie and Hilda (nee Dobslaw) Hubert.  Claus was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his granddaughters. Claus found great joy in spending time at the cabin his father built.  He loved fishing and the special moments it created with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of family, nature, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

Claus is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jean (nee Cleary); children, Timothy, John (Teresa), Lisa (Greg) Bowler; granddaughters Kenzie and Ella Bowler and Emma Hubert; brother, Harry (Sandi) Hubert; brothers-in-law, Tim Cleary, Pat (Linda) Cleary, Terry Cleary, Kevin (Barb) Cleary, John (Angie) Cleary; sisters-in-law, Kathy Cleary, Maureen (Charlie) Gehring, Terese (Dwayne) Herther and Paula Cleary; Godson, Brett Cleary; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Claus is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Hilda; bother, Rudy Hubert; parents-in-law, Robert and Marilyn Cleary; brother-in-law, Michael Cleary and granddaughter, Evelyn Hubert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4886 Hwy 175, Hartford) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding.  Visitation will be held at church on Friday, November 7 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Interment will follow Mass at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
