Christopher J. Goneau, 22, a loving and compassionate young man, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born on March 20, 1992 in Wildomar, California to his loving parents, Dean and Susan (nee Otte) Goneau. Chris was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend East Class of 2010. He was employed at Bits 'n Pieces Floral Shoppe in West Bend and attended both UW-Whitewater and UW-Washington County. Chris loved soccer and played the sport most of his life. He enjoyed weight lifting, skateboarding, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his cherished siblings: Ashley, Joshua, Nancy (Nick) Vincelli, and Michelle (Travis) Cooksey; dear grandparents: Verda Thompson, and Bruce (Barbara) Otte. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Chris also admired and looked up to his friends Pat and Deb Bohn.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Thompson.

The Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) from 3:00 PM until 6:45 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a fund will be established for disadvantaged children.
