Obituary

Christine Judith Ann Quandt returned home to the Lord on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. She was born to William and Jeanette Mack on December 4th, 1957, the youngest of 9 children.

She met David and was married on February 28th, 1976 in West Bend. After years of traveling and enjoying their time together, they went on to have 4 beautiful daughters. She fully enjoyed being a stay at home Mom, being involved in school activities and events.  Everything Christine did revolved around living a healthy life and giving the best to her family. Most days you'd find her out in the garden or tending to her animals (her many chickens over the years, her beloved donkey Herbie, and best friend Tillie). She loved camping, live music, card parties with friends and family and being outdoors. No matter what she did, she just loved doing it with her family. She always put a special touch in everything she did, whether it was making a hand embroidered Christmas stocking for each grandchild, or having an endless supply of THE best chocolate chip cookies for her daughters' school lunches. No matter what the situation was, she could keep things light with her humor & sarcasm. Above all, she just made life easier for her family and everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed in so many ways.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her daughters and grandchildren. She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, David Quandt of Lomira; her daughters, Sarah of Howards Grove, Anna (Nick) Winkler of St. Cloud, Rachel (Grant) Nass of Campbellsport, and grandchildren Charlie Quandt; Eleanor Winkler (and Baby Boy Winkler due in August); Charlotte, Evelyn, Ezekiel & Ophelia Nass. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters: Diane Jean, Jim Mack, Mary (Roger) Hopfensperger, Charlie Mack, Howie (Sandy) Mack, and Jeany (Dean) Oswald; many nieces and nephews & cherished life-long friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Jeanette Mack, father and mother-in-law Elsmer and Eleanor Quandt, her sisters Barb Hopfensperger and Kathy Ward, and grandchildren Carolyn Quandt and Elijah Nass. After almost 5 years of an aching heart since the passing of her daughter Elizabeth, it is comforting to know that they are finally reunited together in paradise.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at The Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI). Visitation will take place from 11-2pm, with a service and luncheon to follow.
