Cheri Lee Staehler (Nee: Simons),83, of Eden, WI passed away at Kathy Hospice on June 29,2026. Cheri was born on March 13,1942 in New London, WI to the late George and Georgia Simons. She Graduated from Kewaskum High School class of 1962. On October 26,1963 at St. Michaels Catholic church, she united in marriage to Ron Staehler.

During her career, she worked at Regal Ware, various Customer Service positions, serving as a hostess at several restaurants as well as an Avon Rep. In her free time, she loved to read books, watch NASCAR, and Play games on her laptop.

She will be missed by her husband Ron, children; Traci Staehler, Teri Cribb, Don Staehler (Carrie), 10 grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren. She will also be missed by her siblings; Dawn Hanson, David Simons, James Simons, sister-in-law Jeannette Pierce, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Georgia and several in-laws; Dennis Hanson, Rosemary (Lloyd) Dean, Arlene (Ray) Herriges, Evelyn (Alfred) Knepprath and Preston Pierce.

Family would like to send a special thank you to Froedtert Hospital E.R, The Moderate Care Unit and the nurses at Kathy Hospice for their incredible care and compassion. The work you do is a true blessing to the families who are navigating a loss.

Per Cheri’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
