Charlotte A Hoffman (nee Rusch) passed away July 4,2026 at the age of 91. Charlotte was born November 5,1934 to the late Lawrence and Esther Rusch. She graduated from West Bend High School class of1953.

She went on to study nursing at Theda Clarke, receiving her LPN. Charlotte worked full time and part time at St. Joseph's Community Hospital in West Bend until her retirement. May 4 of 1957, she married Lawrence (Larry) Hoffman, they were blessed with 62 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in May of 2019.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sherie (Jack) Kruse, their children, Robin (Kevin) Gill and Ryan Kruse. Lisa (Steve) Achterberg-Schroeder, her children Travis Achterberg and Hope (fiancé Drake Bielert) Achterberg, Steves daughters, Kimberly (Tyler McClain) Thiery and Carlyn (partner Zach Meehean) Schroeder. 3 great grandchildren, Charla Gonyo, Mallory Gonyo and Carson Kruse. Bonus great-granddaughter Imogen Thiery McClain. Becoming a Bonus Great Grandson in late July, Liam Bielert. Sister-in-law Jeanette (Donald) Warnecke, niece Christi Grootement-along with many other relatives and close friends. GROUTEMONT Besides parents and her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Erlene and LeRoy Brehmer, their daughter Debbra Schultz, Brother and sister-in-law Roger and Darlene (Peggy) Rusch, their son Rick, sister-in-law's and brother in-law Leona (Bill)Kramer, Viola (Leland)Funk, Loretta (Anthony) Becker, Joynell (Russell) Becker, and Joseph (Anna) Hoffmann.

A funeral service for Charlotte will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (1044 S Silverbrook Dr. West Bend WI 53095) On Thursday, July 16,2026 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive guests in the church from 10:00-10:45 A.M. Burial will take place at Washington County Memorial Park at 1:30 P.M.
