Charles E. Wiskirchen, age 91, went home to his eternal resting place surrounded by family on Tuesday February 24th, 2026. He was born on August 17th, 1934, to Arthur and Gertrude (nee Bunke) Wiskirchen and was a lifelong resident of West Bend.
As an only child, Chuck was an important part of his parents’ Sealtest Milk Distributorship business until it was sold. He then became one of the first fulltime fireman with the West Bend Fire Department, where he retired after many years of serving his community. In his retirement years, he enjoyed driving school bus for a variety of field trips, sporting events, and other activities for the West Bend School District. He also enjoyed lively sheepshead games at the many family holidays and gatherings. Additionally, Chuck was an avid sports fan following the Brewers, Packers, and his favorite golfers.
Charles married Cynthia Kuechler on July 24, 1954. They enjoyed 71 years of marriage and family life together. Together they built their family legacy which continues to grow to this date. Charles is survived by children Sandy (Lee) Stehling of West Bend, Randy (Penni) Wiskirchen, Mark (Mercedes) of West Bend, Diane (Dave) Bartley of Marco Island Florida, Steve Wiskirchen of West Bend, and Keith (Jenny) Wiskirchen of Plymouth Wisconsin. He is a grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
A private funeral service for immediate family is being planned with the burial at the Holy Angels Cemetery.
