Charles F. "Chuck" Kadonsky, age 62, of Glendale, WI, passed away early Thursday morning, July 23, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on July 11, 1953, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to the late Raymond F. and Betty J. Kadonsky and was a 1971 graduate of Pacelli High School. He then earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from the International Correspondence School in 1973.
Chuck's professional career actually began as a boy working for the Stevens Point Journal at age 12 delivering newspapers. His career then continued there, and at the Journal Printing Company of Stevens Point, for over 35 years where he held many positions including Circulation Manager, Data Processing Manager, and Business Manager.
In his younger days, he played many seasons of Stevens Point Recreation Department league basketball and softball. He enjoyed sports cars, reading, movies, and traveling, with Florida being his favorite destination. He was also an avid auto racing fan and would spend many of his summer weekends traveling Wisconsin and the upper Midwest attending various events.
Chuck is survived by his brother Dave (Jodie) Kadonsky of Oshkosh, and one niece, Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Betty Kadonsky formerly of Stevens Point.
As per Chuck's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
Chuck's family would like to thank all of his caregivers including the staffs at Aurora Medical Center (Grafton), Saint John's On The Lake Rehabilitation Center (Milwaukee), Horizon Home Care & Hospice (Milwaukee), The Lawlis Family Hospice at Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee (Mequon) and Phillip Funeral Home (West Bend).
