Carol Ann Schram was embraced by her loving Savior on May 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Carol passed away at her home in Fredonia with her family by her side. Carol was born to the late George and Ruth Gueldner on February 12, 1935. She was born and raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Lutheran High School. On January 23, 1961 she married Ronald Schram in Waukegan, IL. Carol's deep love and compassion for people showed through her work. She worked as a CNA at St. Alphonsus Hospital, Heritage Nursing Home, Cedar Lake, Samaritan and Lasata Care Center. She then continued working as a housekeeper for St. Mary's Green Bay. Carol retired for the last time at the age of 81. Carol is survived by her children Russell (Donna) Schram, Carron (Gerry) Godersky, Cindy Schram, and Ronald (Julie) Schram, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, her sister Gretchen (Steve) Spaeth and Brother-in-law Eric Krenek. Carol is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her loyal German Shepherd Maddie. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Gueldner, husband Ron, and sister Marcia Krenek. Memorial Service will take place at St. Matthew Luthern Church, 1525 N. Grant St, Port Washington, WI 53074 on Saturday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Horizon Hospice, Pastor Wildauer, and Pastor Neitzel for medical and spiritual comfort. In lieu flowers, memorials on Carol's behalf can be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend is assisting the family.
