Carlton R. Samuels "Skip," age 74, of Random Lake, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Milwaukee to Arthur and Evelyn (nee Strassburger). He graduated from Cedarburg High Class of '58. He married Irene (nee Tonn) in 1961 in Mequon. He was employed at various contractors in the plumbing industry, retiring from Braden Plumbing.
Skip enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting guns and hunting. He spent his life learning about a variety of things and he loved taking pictures. Above all, he cherished time with his family and friends.
He was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #75, Ozaukee County Pistol League, Saukville Gun Club and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his loving wife, Irene; cherished children: Jennifer (Dean) Glorioso, Deborah (Darryl) Dressel, Irma Samuels, Russell Samuels; seven adored grandchildren: Darryl Jr., Carlo, Dallas, Remmington, Colton, Mark, and Gabriel; one great-grandson Jonah; sister Susan Pastorek; brother-in-law James Tonn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Skip is preceded in death by his parents; brother Arthur; sister-in-law Pam Tonn; and brother-in-law John Pastorek.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (120 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095). The Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, September 21st from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Random Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (Wisconsin Region, PO Box 902, Pewaukee, WI 53072).
