Obituary
Bonnie Lee Kohlmeier,
Passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Ivy Manor Assisted Linving, at the age of 81. She was born in Manitowoc, WI, the daughter of the late Richard and Josephine Hoffman. She married Dennis R. Kohlmeier on June 21st, at UW-Milwaukee WELS Campus Ministry. Bonnie graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI, class of 1961, and UW- Milwaukee School of Social Work, with a B.S. in Social Work 1967. She worked for Milwaukee County Department of Social Services for many years.
Bonnie was also a longtime member of David's Star Lutheran Church, Jackson, WI.
Bonnie is survived by her son Dennis H. (Lynn B.) Kohlmeier, and granson Aaron Kohlmeier. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis R. Kohlmeier who passed on 9/13/2022; parents Richard (who passed on in August of 1978) and Josephine (Beilke) Hoffman (who passed in June of 2004.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ivy Manor- West Bend and Horizon Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Bonnie.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at David's Star EV Lutheran Church in Jackson for close family and friends with Pastor Michael Woldt preciding, the interment of cremains will be determined for May or June, 2024.
