Barbara Ann Wolter (nee Schwartz) passed away peacefully on August 25, 2015. She was born on March 2, 1944.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Steven (Kim) Wolter, her beautiful granddaughters, Cassie and Kayla, her sister Dianne (Pat) Horlamus, her brothers Joe (Kathleen) Schwartz and Michal (Sharon) Schwartz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Thelma Schwartz, her sister Carolyn Molitor and her many cherished pets.

Barb worked as a nurse and really enjoyed getting to know those she cared for. She was always there to help whoever needed her, giving a kind word and gentle smile. She enjoyed time spent with family and loved to garden and work in her yard.

According to her wishes, there will be no viewing and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in her name may be made to The Washington County Humane Society.
