March 5, 1933-March 7, 2021
Barbara J. Trautman, 88, of Germantown entered into eternal peace Sunday, March 7, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 5, 1933 in Mauston and lived in Menomonee Falls, Hartland, Saxeville, and New Lisbon before moving to Germantown. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, and doing needlework. In her early years she enjoyed teaching quilting and ceramics as well as traveling with her late husband, Frank.
Survivors include three sons, Gregory (Brenda), Michael (Peggy), Jonathan (Jessica); one daughter, Lisa (Chris) Carlton, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one special sister, Carole (the late Andrew Ferber). She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank, of 62 years and her parents (Edward and Martha Dinkins).
The family would like to thank Fairway Knoll staff and residents for making her feel like a special member of the community. The family would also like to thank Home Instead and Horizon Health and Hospice who provided care and comfort to Barbara as she took her journey to eternal life.
