Obituary
Barabara Jean Edwards (nee Kobs), age 74, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her home in West Bend. She was born on July 5, 1949 to Nealand and Emma (nee Koch) Kobs.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, watching the wildlife (especially Hummingbirds), working on her crafts like sewing and plastic canvas projects, as well as watching her favorite movies and shows. She was always quick to chat with someone new. Fall was her favorite season, she always loved watching the trees changing colors.
Barbara is survived, forever loved, and missed by her daughter, Carrie Edwards; her grandchildren, Austin (Victoria) Edwards and Emma McKee; great-grandson, Jack Edwards; siblings, Sandi Kobs and Jan (Frank) Vasquez. She is further survived by other relatives, friends, and beloved pets.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Nealand and Emma Kobs.
Barbara was a strong, supportive member of her family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
To honor Barbara's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate her life will be planned for a later date.
The family would like to thank the West Bend Fire & Police Departments, also the 911 dispatchers and the staff at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
