Arnold, "Arnie" L. Schumacher, age 67 of West Bend, WI passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 after a brief fight with an aggressive cancer. He joined our Lord in Heaven and is now in Eternal Peace and free from pain. Arnie was born on September 26, 1948 to Arnold Sr. and Ethel (nee Opper) Schumacher.
Arnie will be dearly missed by all his family, extended family, many friends and coworkers. He will be forever remembered for his uncanny ability to make a room full of people laugh to the point of tears with his one line come backs and stories. He truly had a heart of gold. "Let's do this".
Arnie is survived by his daughters Brenda (Roland) Hayward and October "Tobie" (Randy) Johnson; grandson Joshua (Stephanie) Schumacher; grandchildren Victoria "Tori", Alexandria "Lexi", Isabel, Dylan and Zoey; great grandchildren Hailey, Hayden and Claire; sisters Caroline (Richard "Lefty") Reich and Charlotte (Fred) Legate. Arnie is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Howard "Howie" Schumacher and his children's mother Susan Wenn.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Arnie's life will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 West Paradise Drive West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Joseph Fisher officiating. The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (P.O.
