Ardell G. Yochem (nee Tackes), age 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1934 to the late Edward and Alma (nee Krohn) Tackes. She graduated from Random Lake High School. Ardell married Donald on July 26, 1952 at St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada. She spent her adult life as a seamstress. Sewing was her talent, her job, and her joy. She worked at Enger Kress, Mallard Coach, and The Clothes Clinic, retiring in 1999. She was a volunteer sewer for Bea Vincent. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening.

Ardell is survived by her children, Linda Gavin, Donna Brown, Christine (Kevin) Gagnon, Donald Jr., Michael (Angie), and Lori (Brandi); 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shawn (girlfriend Britni), Deanna (John), Aaron (Nora), Desiree (Jon), Shanah, Ginny (Edward), Megan (Corey), Amber, Brian, Jacob, and Kyle; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Tackes; and sister-in-law, Hildegarde.

Preceded in death by five sisters, two brothers, five brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, parents, step-mother, and her husband, Donald.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, September 29th from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM.
