Anthony J. Limbach, Sr., age 76, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was born on May 26, 1938 to Joseph and Margaret (nee Friess) Limbach. He was raised in the Hubertus area and attended Hartford High School. He later married Janet (nee Warnecke) and they raised seven children. Tony worked at Gehl Company for 41 years and retired in 2000. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Other favorite pastimes included gardening, fishing, hunting, golfing, going to casinos
and playing Sheepshead.
He was a member of Moose Lodge #1398 in West Bend, Knights of Columbus Council #1964 and Gehl Hexelbank Club "C.A.F.E."
Tony is survived by his wife, Janet; children: Sharon (Ken) Ruplinger, Anthony Jr., Jeffrey, Sandra, Patrick (Dolly), and Brian (Jackie); grandchildren: Kimberly (Chris) Raschick, Scott (Colleen) Ruplinger, Kelly (Brett) Buboltz, Steven (Erin) Ruplinger, Thomas (Melissa) Limbach, Chad (Michelle) Baerber, Christina Baerber, Matthew, Katie, Danielle, Andrea and Josh Limbach; 6 great-grandchildren: Morgan and Duncan Ruplinger, Trinity McGaw, Landon and Kiley Baerber, and Emerson Raschick; sisters Margaret Torn and Marion (Norbert) Weyer; siblings-in-law: Earl (Beverly) Warnecke, Allen (Pat) Warnecke; Jean (Jerry) Gleisner and Judy (Vince) Strupp. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Suzanne, 2 brothers, 3 sisters.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (406 Jefferson St, West Bend, WI 53090) with Fr. Nathaniel Miniatt presiding. The visitation will be at church on Tuesday, August 12th from 3:00 PM until 5:45 PM. Interment will take place at (new) St. Mary's Cemetery on Wednesday, August 13th at 10:00 AM.
