Ann R. Matenaer (Nee Russell) of West Bend, WI. Age 76. Passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her home on Thursday November 5, 2015. Ann was born on January 11, 1939 in Edinburgh, Scotland to James and Jessie Russell (Nee Taylor). Ann met the love of her life Frank Matenaer in Scotland in 1959 and were married in West Bend, WI on November 25, 1961.

Before moving to the United States, Ann was employed at Allied Paper Merchants in Scotland. After coming to the United States she was employed at The West Bend Company and retired from Matenaer Corporation after 26 years. She later worked part-time at the Clothes Clinic in West Bend for 13 years. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 2 grandchildren. She loved to travel abroad and take trips to the casino. Ann loved her Scottish heritage.

Ann is survived by her husband, her two sons, Scott (Melanie) Matenaer of Menomonee Falls & Troy (Chris) Matenaer of West Bend; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa and Nathan Matenaer; sister Dee Lowe of Leicester England; brother-in-law Jimmy Matenaer; sister-in-law, Terri Matenaer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law; sister Margaret Herringshaw; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Menke and Sharon Matenaer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at The Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend) with Deacon Mike Koebel presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of service.
