Allen K. Yahr, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 while in the wonderful care of Cedar Communities Hospice and his loving family. He was born on November 15, 1929 to Leonard J. and Ruth K. (nee Miller) Yahr in the town of West Bend.

He was a graduate of West Bend High School class of 1947. Married Audrey Peters on May 24, 1952. He spent his entire working career, of 49 years, at the family business of West Bend Concrete Products / Yahr's Ready Mix which became Bend Industries. Allen was also a proud and hardworking member of the West Bend Lions Club earning numerous distinguished service awards. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family at their cottage on Lake Holcombe.

Allen is survived by his wife, of nearly 66 years, Audrey; Laurie (Richard), Adrian and Alesha; Ronald (Mary), Tessa (Jason), Becca (Tyler), Sara and Phyllis Johnson; Beverly (Paul) and Troy; Nancy (Michael), Jennifer and Allison; sister, Carol Gerner, brothers, Fred (Mary Ann) and Tom (Lori); sister-in-law, Elaine (Al) Prost, brothers-in-law Glenn (Myra) Peters and Willard Peters. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Allen is preceded in death by brother-in-law John Gerner, sister-in-law Marlene, nephew and niece Craig and Jennifer Peters.

A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be at 5:00PM on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Private entombment at Washington County Memorial Park.
