Marsha E. McGee (Dincolo), of West Bend, passed away surrounded by family and friends at the Kathy Hospice on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the age of 61 years.
Marsha was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The 1966 marriage of James Madison Dincolo and Barbara Lee Oakes-Arklie led to the adoption of Marsha and Sandford “Sandy” Arklie.
Along with her mother and brother, Marsha later moved to the South Bend, IN area where she attended Clay High School and then Ball State University.
Marsha excelled in her career in the telecommunications industry. Marsha dedicated 25 years as an employee for IBM. She then went on to become the director of IT for the Global Contact Center Services with AT&T.
Marsha was an adventurer. She rode English and Western Style horses. She traveled the world on Wind Jammers as a diver. Her passion was for her Labrador retriever field trials. She dedicated countless hours to training Labradors and enjoyed much success and companionship with them. These field trials took her around the nation and offered her the opportunity to meet and befriend many folks. She was an active member of many local field trial organizations.
Marsha is survived by her husband Chris; parents-in-law Philip and Dorothy McGee of Fond du Lac; brothers Sandford (Faith) Dincolo of Alta Loma, CA, Thomas (Rebeca) Dincolo of Folsom, CA, Michael (Leann) Dincolo of South Bend, IN, and David (Lisa) Dincolo of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law Cameron (Rachel) McGee of Fond du Lac and sister-in-law Kim (Mike) Haugen of Antigo. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, many dear friends, and her beloved pups Argus, Beamer, Chili, and Lucky who live at home.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents James and Barbara Lee Dincolo and birth father John Arklie.
Gathering will take place from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Kathy Hospice (c/o of St. Joseph’s Foundation, 3232 Pleasant Valley Dr., West Bend, WI 53095).
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the entire staff of the Kathy Hospice, Dr. Lawrence Gill, the nursing staff at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital- 4th floor pavilion building, and both Dr. William Bradley and Dr. Travis Webb from Froedtert M.L. Hospital for all their support, care, and compassion for Marsha.
