Donna J. Witz (July), nee Schwichtenberg, of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 77 years.
Donna was born on November 26, 1939 to John and Elsie (nee Dudei) Schwichtenberg in West Bend. She was an avid reader, beloved Green Bay Packer and WI Badger fan. Donna loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our mom had a “big heart” and made many friends in the 4 years she lived at Cedar Community. Her smile would light up the room when visitors would stop in and admire her family pictures and décor.
Donna is survived by her children Debra (Kenneth) Kujawski of Wayne, Cheryl (Frank) Simonson of Kewaskum, Jackie (Alan) Buckley of West Bend, and Susan (Rick) Wild of Horicon. She is further survived by her grandchildren Joe (Johanna) Kujawaki of Fond du Lac, Michele (Christopher) Steinberger of West Bend, Jeremy (Kristin) Simonson of Kewaskum, Jennifer (Tim) Balthazor of Fremont, Melissa (Josh) Harter of West Bend, Adam Simonson of Campbellsport, Joshua (Heather) Buckley of Kingsport, TN, Jessica Woods of West Bend, Nicole (Bryan) VanLaarhoven of Green Bay, Keith Leintz of Horicon, great-grandchildren Evelynn, Daphne, Adam, Abigail, Aiden, Gavin, Noah, Lorelai, Jaxon, Alayna, Hayden, Lilyanna, Jasmine, Xavier, Hunter, Ella, Sophia, and Talyn, siblings Herb Schwichtenberg, Eleanor Holzmann, Carol Montgomery, special friend Marion Ranney, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mae Groh, sister-in-law Lorraine Schwichtenberg, brothers-in-law Sylvester Groh, Alfred Holzmann and Roger Montgomery.
A Graveside Service will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Washington County Memorial Park of West Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
A Special Thank You to all the staff at Cedar Community that took great care of our mom for the last 4 years. You made her days special and shared many stories. Also, thank you to Ronael her favorite nursie doctor (PA) for her compassion and friendship.
